That depends on your home and system. Contact your installer for the best advice on any maintenance requirements.
Apply for the ISDE subsidy through rvo.nl. You will need an invoice and product registration code from your installer. The application is straightforward and entirely online. Many installers will help you, and some, such as our partner Coolblue, handle the whole process for you.
Weheat heat pumps use propane (R290), a natural refrigerant that is both environmentally friendly and energy-efficient. Unlike some synthetic refrigerants, propane is also PFAS-free. One drawback is that it is highly flammable, but the heat pump contains only a small amount, fully sealed in a closed circuit. The design therefore minimises the risks.
Weheat’s CE-certified heat pumps are designed with safety and sustainability in mind and meet European safety standards. The casing is made of EPP, a lightweight, flexible and shock-absorbing material. This reduces wear and extends the life of your heat pump!
We also work with certified installers to ensure a safe, high-quality installation.
We use your data to keep your heat pump working intelligently and efficiently. This includes settings, consumption and fault codes, helping us improve performance and resolve problems faster. All data is encrypted within Vodafone’s secure network. You remain in control and can request access to your data at any time. We continually check and improve our security to keep your data safe. Simply put, a heat pump extracts heat from the outside air and uses it to heat your home. In a hybrid system, it works alongside your boiler, which only helps on the coldest days or when hot water demand is high. An all-electric system lets you say goodbye to gas completely.

We work with accredited installers throughout the Netherlands. They handle the installation from start to finish, including advice, fitting and commissioning.
Installation takes between one and three days, depending on your home and chosen system. Ask your installer for a more accurate estimate for your home.
Whether your home needs alterations depends on your current system and the installation you want. Weheat heat pumps are designed to work with almost any existing boiler. In some cases, extra insulation or replacement radiators may be needed. Our installer will assess this during the survey and give you honest advice.
